The Leicester Art Zone is a Social Enterprise corporation that educates members on the principles, practices, and philosophy of cooperation. This is done by providing art courses and same services for elderly and disable students and by giving members the opportunity to manage their painting and drawing skills on higher level.

The purpose of membership in such as the LAZ is to support the goals of the organization, not to make a profit on the shares. The member-owners of the LAZ envision an affordable painting/drawing community in which equal and educated members work together to further the Social Enterprise.

As part of my responsibilities as a member:

• I will interpret the organization's work and values to the community and represent the organization.

• I will attend at least 50% of members meetings, and special events. I will pay membership fee every year.

• I will actively participate in one or more fundraising activities.

• If I don't fulfil these commitments to the organization, I will expect the board president to call me and discuss my responsibilities with me.

Membership fee is currently £18 per year and run the date you paid each year. (Asylum seekers can pay £4.50 for three months or £1.50 every for every months)

I will be a member at Leicester Art Zone. I have read, understood, and accepted all of the provisions on membership contract.
